Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul – 02

10 May
May 10, 2017

Nina sure does love to blush and look cute. Opening KFX was done by who else but foolishrobot with K-Timing by Deth93, and ending KFX was brought to you courtesy of Ñyuum, so thanks to those three for being so legendary.

Update: 02v2 patch is because I’m an idiot and muxed in the wrong script, not to mention forgetting a font too.

For optimal playback, we recommend:

Standard Users (All OS): VLC Media Player
Advanced Users (Windows): MPC-HC with LAV Filters Megamix, CCCP, or K-Lite Codec Pack.
Advanced Users (Mac / Linux): mpv

The ending KFX is kinda messed up, even in v2.

Well I’m sorry to hear that Edd, but we did not make the KFX for Virgin Soul. We merely timed Ñyuum’s to our video because we thought their version was the nicest looking fit to the theme.

I don’t see any timing issues at all either, and I’ve watched it over 50 times making sure its timed properly, along with a few other of my staff members. If you don’t like how the KFX looks, you can contact Ñyuum and let them know… but I think it looks nice 🙂

I think a hungarian group (I am not part of that group) did a better KFX ( http://prnt.sc/f636tp ). I am an eng-hun translator for an another hungarian group, but our guys still working on the KFX for Virgin Soul. If it will be released, I can send you a copy of the ass, If you want and I do not forget it 😀 But dunno when it will be, they are pretty busy with other animes.
And thanks for this episodes too!

Thanks for the feedback, Leviathan13. I’m currently looking at this AnimeAddicts release (the group who did the KFX you linked in that screenshot), and it seems that their KFX is hardsubbed into the video, and not in the actual softsub script.

If your group does get around to making some KFX for the ending of Virgin Soul, please let us know by either joining our IRC channel or via email so we can take a look at it… But for now, we like what we have currently. 😛

Well first thanks for the release ^^

And second about ED kfx, nothing is wrong with it… really xD The font matches the pixelated background and the colour matches the credits. I fancy it 🙂

Thanks for the kind words nikolai131, we all definitely agree with you on that!

I know, that it is hardsubbed, checked that before a replied to you :-/ 😛 Dunno why, before they allways did softsubbed KFX.

We do not use IRC, so via mail or PM @ AnimeTorrents 🙂 If you want to check our work, you can @ haru-subs.hu 🙂 It is in hungarian, but not hard to check on 🙂 We have online releases too for every our work.

There’s nothing wrong with the font at all, it’s just that in some lines, there’s some extra words behind them (http://imgur.com/wgTOynv) and in others there extra words in the side (http://i.imgur.com/PIO7WHa.png).

Something seems to be wrong with your video player’s subtitle renderer, as they do not show like that whatsoever when I play it on my end. What video player are you using, Edd?

Here is a comparison that I made of the same images you linked in your comment, except with my video player setup:

Edd’s Broken Subtitle Renderer Comparison Pics

Further info: I’m using LAV Filter Megamix’s build of MPC-HC with madVR as the video renderer, and VSFilter for the subtitle renderer. I have also tested this on VLC and my screenshots did not come out like that.

Oh, so the problem was on my end, sorry. I’m using pots player with everything on default (i think).

          • LastReaction says:

Try using VSFilter as your subtitle renderer instead of Potplayer’s default one. More info here: xy-VSFilter Project (Doom9)

An even easier fix would be to just get VLC Media Player using the link on this post.

Either of those options should resolve your issue.

Thanks. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes (and Yamato 2202 as well – 2199 was great). I was just wondering if you guys are interested in subbing the two Bahamut Short Story episodes that take place between the two series and were put up on YouTube? There are subs by some anon, but I’m not sure how trustworthy they are.

Thank you for taking the time to watch our stuff, T48! 😀

Deth93 actually suggested the two Bahamut YouTube Short Stories to all of us a few weeks ago… IDK if we’re doing it or not though, since it needs a translator and ours is pretty busy at the moment. If we do, we’ll definitely make a post about it on here in the future.

For the time being, I’ll get the raws and time the subs, and once our TL finds some time, we’ll release it.
